Freedom Counseling LLC receives daily calls from potential clients who express interest in seeking counseling with us. When a person is in the process of searching for a mental health counselor, the following important factors are typically in play:

1. Is the therapist competent aka can she/he help me with my concerns?;

2. Where is the practice located? Ideally, the location is within 15-20 minute drive to the individual’s home address. Although TeleaHealth is becoming more common these days  many clients still prefer to go to an actual office and see their counselor in-person.;

3. Does he/she accepts my insurance? Everything may seem perfect until this question is being asked. You have a highly knowledge psychotherapist with an office within a 10 minute distance however, he/she does not accept your insurance. What a Bummer!
