My name is Ekaterina Musok. I’m a happily married, animal loving, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have had the privilege to work with children, adults and adolescents within the mental health and medical fields. More specifically, my experience includes working with individuals, couples and families who struggle with marital and relationship issues, poor communication skillsanxiety, depressionpast and/or current trauma as well as feelings of low-self esteem. I offer a warm, non-judgmental, personalized therapeutic environment. My approach is simple: to assist you in discovering your true self and improve your inner confidence.

More About Me

Education

Ekaterina Musok is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida, South Dakota and Arizona. She obtained her Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from University of South Florida in 2016. Ekaterina graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelor in Psychology in 2013. She is a member of Psi Chi International Honor Society as well as Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Ekaterina is currently working as the Founder and Lead Therapist for Freedom Counseling LLC. She works with clients suffering from feelings of self-doubt, anxiety, depression, marital and pre-marital conflicts, divorce, grief, and loss. Additionally, she helps adolescents and parents deal with school, behavioral and adjustment issues.  Ekaterina alsoprovides Immigration Evaluations for immigrants in the Tampa Bay Area and throughout the state of Florida. 

Experience

Ekaterina Musok’s diverse work history includes experience in two countries, both in Europe and the United States. She has had the opportunity to work in Medical Social Work as well as Community Mental Health. Ekaterina’s passion includes assisting individuals, couples and families struggling with mental health disorders, relationships and life transition challenges. In her role as a Medical Social Worker, Ekaterina has helped patients navigate the often confusing medical field of chronic illness, grief and co-morbid diseases. She is a vocal advocate for her clients, and has a proactive approach to the issues her clients face. Ekaterina’s comments and articles have been featured in Reader’s Digest, 14 Things Therapists Need You to Know About Suicide as well as one of the largest mental health online publications, PsychCentral on topics discussing mental health, suicide and substance abuse concerns for individuals who have endured spiritual trauma and mind control ( Working with Patients from High Control Groups – Part 1 and Part 2  ).

Ekaterina is a trained EMDR clinician specializing in treating trauma. During her clinical internship, Ekaterina was trained to utilize Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which was developed by Marsha Linehan. Additionally, she has also had training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
